The objective of the paper is to describe a knowledge base for the course of Digital Photography that is developed at the Faculty of Informatics and Management, University of Hradec Králové. We want to integrate different resources about photography using the web-based repository and to enable browsing and searching resources not only with respect to learning objectives of the particular lesson, but also with respect to needs and interests of individuals. In this paper we highlight different types of knowledge that has to be involved in the knowledge base.
