Abstract

An incentive mechanism based on reputation was proposed to deal with the deficient fairness and low effectiveness and no accurately reflection on peers’ behaviors in traditional trust model. In this paper, reputation will be divided into service reputation and credibility of recommendation, and the incentive mechanism was quantified by calculation of reputation and service peers enjoyed the selection freedom in the mechanism for providing better services actively and increasing the transaction success rate. At the same time, the randomly extraction algorithm based on credibility of recommendation was introduced in order to improve the accuracy of the recommended and reduce effectively traffic in P2P network. The incentive mechanism has better performance in the prevention of Free-rides, white washing and a variety of conspiracy to deceive.
