Abstract

One of the most interesting challenges introduced by web services is the dynamic compos ability. In this paper, An A-G algorithm(a modified Genetic Algorithm)is proposed to solve QoS-aware service composition problem, which is based on Ant Colony Optimization(ACO)and Genetic Algorithm. Our approach aims at learning advantages of both algorithms and overcoming their shortcomings. Experimental results show that our approach can improve the efficiency of web service composition, it can not only find an optimal solution, but also has a better convergence speed than that of the classical ACO.
