The problem of automation of mutual orientation is considered for different cases of shooting and different types of objects. Based on modern methods of image analysis and processing, a technique for choosing matching points, based on a complex of algorithms providing implementation of successive stages of processing the source data, is proposed. It is shown that the developed technique makes it possible to solve the posed problem in a sufficiently wide range of affecting factors.
