The linear canonical transform (LCT) is more adapted to many physical problems than the Fourier transform which is a particular case of LCT. The sampling of functions which are band-limited according to some LCT is the topic of many recent papers. This paper shows that classical results can be adapted to obtain errorless reconstruction formulas. The results are provided for usual periodic sampling as well as for periodic nonuniform sampling (PNS) or for irregular sampling.
