In this work we present a zoomable user interface (ZUI) to navigate in a large hierarchical graph using two multitouch systems. The first system is implemented using the radar-TOUCH device [6], a sensor device based on laser technology that detects hand interaction on or in front of large planar surfaces. The second system uses a multitouch table [2] that allows both for finger and pen interaction. The software running on the table serves as a navigation and analysis tool. Both systems use the same renderer to visualize a very large graph based diagram on a large vertical surface.
