Abstract

This paper presents a medical image viewer implemented in Java, whose innovative features are: capability for visual edition and storing of spine's deviation measures of patients suffering from scoliosis, and flexible retrieval of stored images based on these measurements, which are the standard descriptor for this pathology. The viewer is a useful tool for physicians in diagnosis and treatment of scoliosis.
