Abstract

This work determines the scrambling rule of the multi-dimensional Cooley-Tukey FFT for signals defined on general lattices. Previous work has only addressed the scrambling relative to ortogonal lattices. An area where multidimensional lattices of general type are used is video signal processing. These results can be profitably applied to the spectral analysis and the fast co-volution of video sequences.
