In a Bluetooth world, things will be much simpler. Knowing that Bluetooth enables smart, totally ad hoc wireless communications between different electronic devices, one doesn't have to think hard to imagine other uses of this technology. In Bluetooth terminology, when you connect two or more Piconets together, you create a Scatternet. Bluetooth enabled electronic devices connect & communicate wirelessly through short-range Adhoc networks known as Piconets. Each device can also belong to several Piconets simultaneously. Piconets are established dynamically & automatically as Bluetooth device enter and leave radio proximity. The Bluetooth specification enables to form Scatternet from many devices but it does not specify a protocol for it. There are may be various approaches for forming Bluetooth Scatternet which will result in different topology for the same set of nodes. The Scatternet problem can be represented as Scatternet formation, Route Discovery, & Mobility Management. Here we propose a new protocol for forming topology of the Scatternet & address the problem with route discover & mobility management with a proposed solution.
