Abstract

The performance of multicode Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems in the presence of frequency selective fading is evaluated. It is shown that the multi-antenna interference is asymptotically Gaussian. The probability of error is derived for the conventional RAKE receiver and its performance is compared to a linear equalizer for various processing gains, path delays, and antenna configurations.
