This paper discusses the ongoing decline in female students in computer science (CS) and related fields. A questionnaire was developed and used to gather information from current female computer science and other science majors at two universities. The development and issuance of the questionnaire is discussed, along with an analysis of the results. Suggestions related to the motivation of female college students to pursue degrees in computer science and related fields are made based on the results of the survey.
