Abstract

This research is conducted due to develop an interactive computerized simulation software that illustrates bodily movement and blood circulation during obligatory prayers (SolatSim). Data collection is acquired from 51 respondents which are tahfiz students (students majoring or specializing in Qur’anic memorizing). The selection is based on the specialization of tahfiz students that always performing congregate prayers and adjacent with al-Qur’an besides learning other religious knowledge. Data comprises of obligatory prayers’ movement and position in a form of video including static image, blood pressure and heart beat rate that is recorded before and after performing prayer regarding to develop SolatSim. An ADDIE model enriched with Islamic psycho spiritual element is applied as methodology development. This research involves various fields such as multimedia, Islamic studies and biology. Research product is an interactive simulation software which can be used by biology students, Islamic studies students, researchers, parents and public society to widen knowledge on the meaning or advantage of obligatory prayer scientifically.
