Abstract

In this paper, we focus on building the simulation model for testing advanced handover procedures. Simulation model based on real operator network measurements was presented, verified and validated. From the comparisons we can conclude that the modified simulation model works accurately enough for using the results from the simulator for simulating handover using SIP protocol.
