Abstract

This paper presents a novel feature selection method called Feature Quality (FQ) measure based on the quality measure of individual feature values which has very low computational complexity. To evaluate the performance of the proposed method several experiments are conducted on standard datasets and the results obtained show the superiority of the proposed method over the other dimensionality reduction techniques.
