Abstract

J48 algorithm [1] proves to be a good candidate to classify the employment offers available on job search specialized websites for the Romanian labor market. In this paper, we build a methodology to collect and analyze the job offers posted on the web, in order to extract the relevant information for a specific user. Using data mining methods we show that a consistent filtering of the information can be made, having the possibility to extend it according to the user preferences.
