Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a web-based virtual database system currently built at NYIT to link dynamically to three distributed, password-protected databases hosted on three different websites. The main application is to integrate information from three energy monitoring and management databases namely, PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle), Solar Carport, and CAMS (Charge Account Management System) to study the relationship between electric vehicles and renewable energy charging stations.
