Abstract

The paper describes the use of object-oriented techniques throughout all layers of software, in the design and the implementation phase. These techniques increase the productivity of the software engineer as well as the user's benefit from the application. Several tools and their interdependencies are described and supported with some examples. The resulting methodology is needed in order to match today's needs of innovative industrial users.
