In this paper we have described a simulation devoted to wavelet processing of signals. The work is built around an advanced set of processing tools, allowing users to develop their own tools and to test out new ideas using line or interface mode to implement concrete applications. In this work we consider two examples which illustrate the use of the stationary wavelet transform for the exploration of simulated signals. In particular, we investigate the response of a mechanical system when to the input signal is applied a transient disturbance. The interesting results of this work suggest to investigate further, in order to incorporate the dynamic load directly during design and optimization as the design loads, rather than using static loads.
