Abstract

The load-balancing problem of parallel VPN configuration is formulated and solved in consideration of the characteristics of VPN services in this paper. Herein, four load-balancing strategies are suggested for VPNs. The response-time performances and the load-uniformity performance of the proposed strategies are measured as results of load balancing in VPNs.
