In this article, we discuss the key agreement proposed by Bohio and Miri to implement on the two well-known protocols, Dynamic Source Routing protocol (DSR) and Highly Dynamic Destination-Sequenced Distance-Vector Routing protocol(DSDV), in an ad hoc network. We point out that the weakness existed in their scheme; it cannot resist the Key Compromise Impersonation (KCI) attack when routing. Moreover, we propose a novel scheme to get rid of this weakness.
