Abstract

This present work develops a decompression algorithm based on minimum mean-square error (MMSE), for improving the quality of ECG signal after its compression. This system has been made for improving the compression FAN algorithm and using the MIT Arrhythmias Database, because this database has ECG signals with and without pathologies, more similar to real condition. The results show Percent Root-mean-squared Difference (PRD) is three times better than the classical decompression.
