Abstract

In the health and hospital field the use of simulation techniques is more and more wide spreading to improve the system efficiency and reduce the costs. Therefore the high uncertainty of this system typology, characterised by a high human incidence, does not allow the building of a "classic" physical model, requiring precise and repetitive rules, but it suits better to a logic-type model, with the simulator built up according to the Data Driver Simulation approach. In this article we will analyse an applicative case carried out for the Clinical Pathology Laboratory of the "G. Gaslini" Paediatric Institute.
