The Mental Image Directed Semantic Theory (MIDST) has proposed an omnisensual mental image model and its description language Lmd. This language can provide multimedia expressions with intermediate semantic descriptions in predicate logic. This paper presents a brief sketch of Lmd and its application to cross-media operations between linguistic and pictorial expressions of space and time.
