In this paper, we describe the need and development of Ontologies. We also show the creation of an Ontology in Health Domain. In a developing country like India, due to mass population and scarcity of services, health care has taken a back. People often restore to the Internet for gathering information regarding a particular diseases or a health care service. They often do not find the information of their choice as the data is often available in a scattered form. Our Ontology can be used to extract such information in a more effective and efficient manner.
