Large scale and complex software systems are becoming more difficult to control, resulting in higher development cost, and difficulties in managing software quality. To ensure software quality, testing has to be done and needs to execute more number of test cases. There are several test case generation techniques available, but still there exist scope for improvement. This paper presents a comparison of partition based test case generation techniques to provide guidelines for choosing the appropriate test case generation techniques.
