Abstract

For indoor wireless links multipath dispersion limits the maximum transmission data rate, various techniques are used to reduce Intersymbol interference (ISI). Out of various techniques Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is used frequently. Peak-to-average power ratio is the key factor for power inefficiency for OFDM. Use of SC-CP is proposed for making OFDM power efficient. In this paper scenarios of implementation of pilot aided OFDM and SC-CP for indoor wireless are discussed.
