Abstract

The standard data envelopment analysis (DEA) method requires that the values for all inputs and outputs are known exactly. However, this assumption may not be always valid. For example, some outputs and inputs may be only known as in forms of interval data, ordinal data. This model is called imprecise DEA (IDEA). In this paper we try to study the way we could limit the large intervals of DMUs in output level as well as in input level (saving resources) without affecting DMUs' efficiency.
