Abstract

The actual mobile communication systems need more resources like radio channels and computational load in order to provide proper services in a working area. Models like propagation model of the channel, traffic distribution model and service area model are needed for behavior study of these systems. In this paper we introduce the mentioned models and we make an analysis concerning the new calls blocking probabilities in the communication system for either uniform and nonuniform traffic conditions. Simulation results validate the analysis.
