Abstract

The information systems and the standardization of the transmission protocols became important components in the modern medical world. In order to ensure the integration of different medical software applications, the use of HL7-Health Level Seven standard is compulsory. The standard offers a set of rules and algorithms specific to the medical field. This paper presents an integrated medical pilot system such as a "HIS - Hospital Information System", adapted to the Romanian sanitary system.
