Interconnection network and its communication ability is the bottleneck of Cluster system. To alleviate this bottleneck, FC-TRSN, a high-speed switch network based on Fibre Channel and Token-Routing technology, is researched. The communication protocol of FC-TRSN is designed and the NIC and the switch are implemented in this paper. According to the experiment results, the FC-TRSN has high-bandwidth and low-latency, and it can satisfy the communication requirements in Cluster system. Now, FC-TRSN performs well and has been applied to a high-performance Cluster-computing environment named Meso-scale Numerical Weather Forecast System.
