Abstract

Contemporary studies of information retrieval have been working on the application of various techniques. No perfect solution has been developed yet. This paper presents the joint application of vector space modeling, relevance feedback and genetic algorithm in the construction of an intelligent agent for information retrieval on WWW. The effects of the divergent embodiments of the related techniques are experimented and examined.
