Abstract

This paper focuses on graphical recognition technologies domain. We propose a moment-based image recognition technique. Our approach consists of two main steps. First it performs an image feature extraction operation on a image set, then a graphical feature vector classification is performed. We utilize a set of area moments for image featuring. In the classification stage a semiautomatic region-growing procedure is proposed.
