Wireless communication appears to be one of the most attractive technologies today. It eliminates the annoying wiring problem and possibly gives mobility to electronic equipments. In this paper, a wireless mobile data sharing device is proposed. It allows the storage media to be attached to the device in a flexible manner and then accessed by other equipments through the wireless interface without the need of physical wires. A prototype device has already been developed on an embedded system platform with open sources. Initial analysis and comparison indicate that it's feasible to implement a wireless mobile data sharing device since the power consumption is acceptable.
