Abstract

The objective of this work is to use the simulation of the health care process Surgery in order to improve it. To do that, health care process Surgery was first modeled using the flowchart technique and then the simulation process was run using iGrafx software. The simulation results showed that the process Surgery is well modeled. Moreover, the results also indicated the bottlenecks of the observed process which may reflect the need for potential improvement.
