This study was designed to observe the impact shaped by the introduction of interactive diagrams on the problem solving process involving additive structures - addition and subtraction concepts - by elementary school teachers. We observed five elementary school teachers in individual sessions when solving four (4) situations. Their actions and verbalizations were recorded, videotaped and analyzed using a micro-genetic methodology. The data was analyzed in order to identify consecutive apprentice and interferences induced by the interface reactions. As a consequence, we improved the feedback interaction style. These results contribute to the design of new interactions styles to intelligent educational software.
