Abstract

In order to speed up the progress of developing embedded software while reducing its cost, a novel configurable simulation system based on MDA (Model Driven Architecture) is proposed in this paper. A configurable software approach is introduced into the simulation system resulting in an easy configuration of the system functions. The proposed simulation system can customize the simulation environment and generate a monitor interface easily according to the requirements obtained from customers. Further the real-time simulation results can be monitored by the system. The experimental results show that the configurable simulation system based on MDA provides a fast and efficient way for general-purpose embedded software development.
