If some of the important problems in the existing RFID systems are addressed, the bleeding edge technology of RFID may evolve as a leading edge technology. These problems include false positive reads and the lack of efficiency in RFID reader systems while issuing the commands. This paper proposes novel techniques for addressing these problems using soft computing techniques.
