The idea of virtualization has been successfully practiced in many fi elds of information technology such as the virtualizations of operating systems, memories, networks, and even human tutors. This research is a virtualization of human tutoring in the domain of relational database schema normalization implemented as an intelligent tutoring system usable as a virtual tutor to facilitate the knowledge acquisition of relational database schema normalization.
