This paper deals with Hopf bifurcation control for a single neuron model with delay-dependent parameters. It has been shown that the system without control cannot guarantee a stationary state. As the range parameter of the system passes a critical value, Hopf bifurcation occurs early. To control the Hopf bifurcation, a state feedback controller is proposed to postpone the onset of undesirable Hopf bifurcation. Numerical simulation results confirm that the state feedback is efficient in controlling Hopf bifurcation.
