Abstract

The paper describes typical problems arising in the course of establishment of taxonomic relationships in ontological resources. The situations in that the taxonomic relationships get mixed with relationships of other types are very diversified. In the paper we will discuss the ways for revealing the mistaken taxonomic relationships. Our consideration is based on the experience of development of large linguistic ontologies such as the RuThes Thesaurus and the Ontology on natural sciences and technologies.
