Abstract

The main aim of work was to use methods increasing the efficiency of two algorithms for face recognition such as Principle Component Analysis (PCA) and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA). The tests also depend on checking the influence of using Two-Dimensional Discrete Cosine Transform (2D-DCT) for preprocessing all images. Results prove that these methods improve the rightness of face recognition.
