With the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) such as cell phones and the Internet, people can easily arrange and rearrange face-to-face (F2F) meetings even if their activity schedules change over time. Few studies focused on developing an exploratory environment to reveal how people's potential F2F meeting opportunities alter with their location changes and activity schedule changes. This study develops an analytical framework and a space-time GIS to examine the dynamic changes of potential F2F meeting opportunities between two people in the ICT age. Two case studies based on hypothetical data indicate the effectiveness of the proposed analytical framework and the space-time GIS in dynamically discovering and visualizing potential F2F meeting opportunities under different activity scheduling scenarios.
