Abstract

Developing intelligent water resource management systems is necessary for a sustainable future. Many aspects of these systems are highly related to spatio-temporal (ST) databases, particularly spatiotemporal network databases (STNDB). However, this domain poses several challenges. In this paper we present our view of the important research issues, including the challenges of modeling of spatio-temporal networks (STN) and data access methods.
