Abstract

This poster describes a project entitled "Inter-Organizational Collaboration and Performance of the State E-Government Portals in Mexico", funded by the Mexican National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT). The purpose of the project is to identify and understand some of the factors that affect the performance of state e-government portals, particularly the ones related to organizational processes and back-office transformation. Therefore, the project attempts to contribute to a better understanding of these processes and their relationship with the functionality, quality, and usefulness of government portals. Practically, the results of this study will help to improve the development and management of these and potentially other e-govenment applications, which should have an impact on greater benefits for citizens, businesses, and other stakeholders.
