Abstract

The paper presents three dimensional scanning tools elaborated by a Norwegian firm. This tool is applied by a number of Norwegian firms (ship designers, shipbuilders, suppliers of equipment, and classification societies) during their collaborating projects. This tool allows 3D scanning, making drawings and 3D hull models. This tool is also applied in other industries, for example, architecture, house construction, and mechanical production.
