Abstract

The paper describes the development environment REx, being a collection of tools used in the construction and development of multilayer statement networks applied in diagnostic expert system shell. Described is the process of inference and its implementation based on a multilayer network of statements that make it possible to include the construction of a knowledge base by a group of experts, a hierarchical organization of knowledge, possibility of taking into account knowledge from many sources.
