Abstract

To solve the problem that the spectrum spread rate is held in the clock period. A method based on the Balance Gold Sequences (BGS) is presented in Ultra-Wide Band communications. The theoretical bit error rate (BER) performance is deduced after building a mathematical model for the system. Computer simulation shows that the Balance Gold Sequences can obtain higher system capacity and superior performance over the Traditional Pseudorandom Code (TPNC) in additive noise and multi-user environments. Finally, the simulation results show that the high system capacity can be achieved in different multi-user interference (MUI).
