Abstract

Secure algorithms for information splitting or sharing are often used in tasks of the intelligent data management in business corporations or state institutions. The significance of information splitting depends on its nature, while the significance of information sharing may depend on its importance and the meaning it has for the organization or institution concerned. This paper presents algorithms for multi-level information splitting and management with the use of the linguistic approach and context-free grammars. Such methods constitute a secure enhancement of traditional secret sharing algorithms and introduce an additional stage at which information is coded using the appropriately defined context-free grammar.
