Abstract

In this paper, the issue of personalized media access over the internet is addressed. The use of media related, "living" user profiles that are created and updated through user behavior as regards access to multimedia resources, tagging and commenting is presented, together with the corresponding mechanisms for implementing and deploying such a profile. The work presented is the result of the corresponding work in the EU research project SARACEN.
