Abstract

This report summarizes the results of the workshop on evolution and reuse for language specifications for DSLs. The focus of the workshop was twofold: exploration of the current research activities concerning reuse and evolution of language specifications and discussion of the identification, extraction, and composition of reusable parts of DSL specifications. The workshop combined presentations with focused discussions on these emergent topics: reusable assets, role of object-orientation, conflicts among reused assets, and the quest for a DSL test-case example to facilitate and guide future discussions.
